Cape Wrath Ultra
The Cape Wrath Ultra is a 400 km, eight day ultra running expedition across remote parts of the Scottish Highlands. The route links ancient footpaths and remote trails through Knoydart, Kintail, Torridon and Assynt, and passes shimmering lochs, wide open glens and rugged mountain terrain on its way to the finish at Cape Wrath.
Distances include:
- 400 km, eight day expedition
- Cape Wrath 100, three day route through final stages
Each day finishes in tented camps where participants rest, refuel and share time together before the next stage. The event describes an expedition style of racing, with multi day stages and overnight camp life as part of the experience. The Cape Wrath 100 covers the later stages of the full route over three days and presents a shorter format of the same itinerary and camp structure.
