Cape Wrath Ultra

The Cape Wrath Ultra is a 400 km, eight day ultra running expedition through north west Scotland. The route links ancient footpaths and remote trails and passes through Knoydart, Kintail, Torridon and Assynt before finishing at Cape Wrath.

The route crosses a variety of terrain including shimmering lochs, wide open glens and rugged mountain ground. Each day ends in tented camps where participants refuel, rest and gather together. Camp life includes shared meals and conversation and watching the light fade over the Highlands before starting the next day at sunrise.

The Cape Wrath 100 covers the final stages of the route over three days and recreates elements of the expedition experience such as the same trails, scenery and tented camps. The next scheduled event dates are 17 to 24 May 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
