Cape Wrath Ultra and Cape Wrath 100
The Cape Wrath Ultra® is a 400 km, eight-day ultra-running expedition through north-west Scotland. The route links ancient footpaths and remote trails and passes through landscapes including Knoydart, Kintail, Torridon and Assynt before reaching the finish at Cape Wrath. The terrain includes lochs, wide open glens and rugged mountain sections.
Each day concludes in tented camps where participants recover, refuel and rest. Camps provide a shared expedition atmosphere for evening meals, equipment care and overnight rest before the next day of travel.
A shorter event, the Cape Wrath 100, follows the final stages of the same route over three days and retains the expedition camp format and scenery of the full event.
