Cape Fear Haunted Wine Run 5k
The Cape Fear Haunted Wine Run 5k is a chip timed 5k run and walk held at Cape Fear Vineyard & Winery in Elizabethtown, North Carolina. The event starts and finishes at the winery and follows a two lap route through Greene’s Lake Conservation Park. Results are posted online after the race.
Registration includes a Super Soft ring spun cotton T shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib with chip timing, and a pour of wine for eligible participants. Packet pick up is available on race day only. Minors may participate with a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib; those minors will not receive the wine glass or a pour of wine.
Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each age category. Categories are in 10 year increments and include 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over. Competitive runners should start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are available only on the day of the event and are not shipped afterwards.
