Canyon to Coast at Island 22 Regional Park, Chilliwack BC
Canyon to Coast takes place at Island 22 Regional Park in Chilliwack and offers multiple distances along the Canyon to Coast Trail beside the Fraser River and through nearby farmland, less than 5 km from Chilliwack’s historic downtown.
The routes are mainly flat and use a mix of farm roads and wide urban-style trail paths with views of the Cheam Mountain Range and, to the southeast, the Cascade range. The marathon is an out-and-back to the Agassiz Bridge; the 21 km and 11 km courses are also out-and-back. The 4 km route loops within Island 22 on wide, flat gravel paths.

Event services include staffed aid stations with water and snacks and toilets at each station, a finisher medal for all participants, finish line food, overall awards for 1st through 3rd, and prize draws from sponsors. Each registration includes a 5 dollar donation to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. The event records finish times without chip timing and shares results after the event. A virtual option is available with the event package mailed to participants. The event is described as family friendly, provides a reading picnic area, limits participant numbers, and operates a cupless policy requiring a reusable cup.
