Canyon to Coast 2026
The event is hosted by Run Like A Girl Adventures Inc. and takes place on June 6, 2026 at Island 22 Regional Park, Cartmell Road, Chilliwack, British Columbia. The event occurs on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Stó:lō Coast Salish peoples.
Routes run mainly on urban dike trails with sections of farm roads and wide gravel paths. Courses follow the Fraser River with views of the Cheam Mountain Range; the marathon route reaches the Agassiz Bridge. Most routes are generally flat with modest elevation changes noted per distance.
Included or provided for participants: a CA$5.00 donation to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library per registration, a finisher medal for all participants, aid stations on course, finish-line food, and event timing via a timing app rather than chip timing. Overall first, second and third finishers receive awards and there are draw prizes from sponsors. A virtual option is available and event packages are mailed to virtual participants before event day. The event is family friendly and includes a reading picnic area. This is a cupless event so participants must bring a reusable cup for aid stations.
