Event overview
The Canyon to Coast event is a multi-distance running event held in June at Island 22 Regional Park in Chilliwack, BC. The event supports the Dolly Parton Imagination Library; each registration includes a $5 donation. The local event includes finishers medals for all participants, finish line food, awards for 1st-3rd overall per distance, aid stations, bib numbers, draw prizes from sponsors, and a limit of 200 participants for 2025. A virtual option is available with the event package mailed to participants.

Course and logistics
Routes use mainly flat urban dike trails and wide path trails, with sections on farm roads. The marathon is an out-and-back to the Agassiz Bridge; the 21 km and 11 km are out-and-back; the 4 km is a loop within Island 22. Reported total elevation change: marathon about 250 m, half marathon about 140 m, 11 km about 100 m. Aid stations are provided on each course (number varies by distance) and toilets are available at aid stations. The event is not chip timed; finish times are recorded and results are shared after the event. Island 22 Park offers river and mountain views, an equestrian area, bike skills park, off-leash dog area, and limited parking.
