Cans Across Campus 5K

The Cans Across Campus 5K takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Gainesville, FL (Woodlawn Drive / Flavet Field, 32603). The event is presented as the 1st annual UF Bread of the Mighty 5K with a "Cans" theme. The race distance is 5K.

The event will include runner check-in, food and beverages served before and after the race, and awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall female and male finishers. The first 200 registered participants will receive a free Bread of the Mighty 5K t-shirt. The entry fee is $10. All proceeds will support Bread of the Mighty Food Bank and its hunger relief programs in North Central Florida. The food bank works through partnerships with schools, churches, and community organizations to provide food to families, seniors, and individuals in need. All ages are welcome.
