Event Overview
The Candy Race 5k Columbus takes place at Glacier Ridge Metro Park in Dublin, Ohio. This event focuses on a themed running experience where participants receive candy upon completing their distance. The course is situated within the natural setting of the Metro Park in Central Ohio. Digital race photography is provided for all participants at no additional cost.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5k (approx. 3.1 miles)
- 200 Yards (Little Jelly Tot Dash)
The Little Jelly Tot Dash is a short distance designed specifically for children aged 6 and under who do not participate in the full 5k event. The 5k is open to both runners and walkers.
Every registered 5k participant, including those joining virtually, receives a colorful t-shirt, a custom finisher medal, and a themed bib number. Candy is distributed at the finish line to celebrate the completion of the race.
Awards are presented to the first place overall male and female finishers. Additionally, recognition is given to the top male and female finishers in several age categories, ranging from 14 and under up to 70 and older.
