Event Overview
The Candy Cane Course is an annual Christmas-themed running event held at Gateway Park in Fort Worth, Texas. The event is organized by Bodies Race Company.
Available Distances

- 1 Mile (untimed)
- 5k (chip-timed)
- 10k (chip-timed)
- 15k (chip-timed)
- Kids Dash (untimed, for children 10 and under)
- Virtual Race option
- Volunteer then Run option
Event Details
Registration includes a custom bib, a designer event shirt, and a finisher medal for most events. The 5k, 10k, and 15k events feature chip timing with live results and awards. Youth pricing of $22 is available for the 5k and 10k for participants 12 and under. The Kids Dash registration includes a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and a specially crafted medal.
Packet pickup is available on race day starting an hour and a half before the event start. The event has a no-refund policy but offers a virtual option if participants cannot attend.
Awards and Extras
Awards are given for the timed 5k, 10k, and 15k events for overall winners, masters (40+), and the top three in standard five-year age groups. Free photos are provided. The event also includes a toy drive for Toys for Tots, where participants are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation.
