This is the second annual Cancer Doesn't Care But WE Do 5K Run/Walk. It takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Newburyport, Massachusetts. The event supports people living with cancer in the community, with proceeds benefiting the North of Boston Cancer Resource organization.
Course Information
The event starts and finishes at the Newburyport Brewing Company, located at 4 New Pasture Road. The 5K course follows the Clipper City Rail Trail. Participants return to the brewery for post-race festivities after completing the route.
Participation & Registration
The event is open to both runners and walkers. Families are encouraged to participate. Children under 10 years old may participate without registering, but they will not receive a timing bib or official results. Registration price is listed at $35, with an increase scheduled after April 17, 2026.
