The race will not use chip timing. All runners must wear their bib on the front in an unobstructed position. Registered runners who sign up before the deadline will receive a race t-shirt; late or day-of registrants may receive an alternative size or style.
Course, safety and support
The 5k route is available for download at becanceractive.org. Volunteers will staff major intersections and turns and are expected to be followed by participants. Aid stations will carry basic first-aid kits and some stations will be staffed by medical professionals with advanced supplies. Earphones are allowed but lowered volume or single-ear use is recommended. Spectators are allowed along most of the route and must follow volunteer directions.
