The Canberra Times Marathon Festival 2026
The Canberra Times Marathon Festival takes place in Canberra on 11th and 12th April 2026 with event activity around John Dunmore Lang Place, Canberra ACT. The festival features multiple distances and a three day Expo for bib collection and exhibitors on 10 to 12 April.
Distances on offer include:
- 42.2K Marathon
- 21.1K Half marathon
- 10K Runner's World 10K
- 5K Charterpoint 5K
- 2K Kids Dash
Event services and credentials include the TCS tracking app, IAAF-AIMS certification for all courses except the Kids Dash, electronic timing and published results, and qualification for Abbott World Marathon Majors Age Group World Rankings for eligible age groups. The festival offers training resources, race day medals, and published age category medals after the event. Monetary prizes are listed for the Marathon and Half Marathon for first to third place. Trophies are awarded for Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K for first to third place.
The program includes a race week course overview and start line walk-through for marathon and half marathon participants, an Event Village, live finish line footage, and information on parking and road closures.
