Canada Goose Ultra
The Canada Goose Ultra is a self-supported, timed running event held on a certified 4 km loop around a lake with a short 1 km out-and-back finishing section. The course is flat and paved, routed through an urban park.
Events are offered in three time formats:
- 6 hour event for an introduction to multi-hour running
- 12 hour event for targeting a distance goal
- 24 hour event for attempting longer personal distances
All finishers receive a custom medal. Runners who exceed their previous longest distance in the race earn a custom swag item. Participants who complete at least 100 km receive a belt buckle. The organiser states there are no refunds or transfers. Marathon Matters members receive a $10 registration discount.
The 2026 edition experienced heavy rain and lightning; race directors used safety pauses when lightning was nearby. The planned route includes a section in front of the legislative building that may change due to construction; final confirmation of the 4 km loop will be provided closer to the event.
