Camuplodunum

Camuplodunum is a long-distance running event that was originally established in 1974 and has been reimagined for 2025 to encompass a marathon distance. The route encircles Colchester, featuring diverse terrains such as field paths, woodlands, and urban sections, reflecting the town's historical significance. Participants will navigate the course using a provided .gpx file or written instructions, with aid stations available approximately every 10km.

The event promotes affordability with a flexible entry fee structure, allowing runners to opt out of receiving a medal or t-shirt.
