Camuplodunum

The Camuplodunum is a marathon event that traces a historic 25-mile route around Colchester, originally conceived in 1974. In 2023, the route was updated to reach marathon distance, incorporating diverse terrains such as field paths, woodlands, and urban sections. Scheduled for 2024, this self-navigation race will feature fully stocked aid stations and checkpoints every 10km.

Participants can choose a more affordable entry fee by opting out of a medal or t-shirt. The event will start and finish at Bannatyne Gym & Spa, which offers ample parking and facilities for spectators. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
