Event Overview
The Campfire Classic is an inaugural running event held in downtown Monett, Missouri. The race serves as a fundraiser for the Barry County Youth Camp, an organization that provides summer camp experiences for children between the ages of seven and ten. All proceeds from the event contribute to this program, which works with local schools to identify youth who would benefit from these outdoor activities.
The course features a start and finish line located at Briar House Brewing Company. Participants can choose between two different distances:
- 3.1 Miles (5k)
- 1 Mile Fun Run
Registration includes a packet and a t-shirt, provided the registration is completed at least one week prior to the event date. Participants who register within 24 hours of the start will not receive a bib number. Packet pickup is organized at the brewery on the morning of the race.
Participants aged 21 and older receive a craft beer as part of their registration fee. For those under the legal drinking age or those who prefer a non-alcoholic option, a craft soda is provided instead.
