Event Overview

The Power Of Pink is a two-day community event held in Wheaton, Missouri, dedicated to raising funds for local women battling breast cancer. The 16th annual event combines a fundraising dinner and auction with walk/run races.

Event Schedule

The first day features a dinner and auction at Wheaton High School on McCall Street. Dinner tickets are $20.00 and can be purchased online or at the door.

The second day includes an auction, food, and basket raffles at Wheaton City Park, located one block from 219 E. Main St. This day hosts the main walk/run events.

Race Details

Several event options are available:

  • 5k and 1 Mile standard races.
  • Kids 1 Mile event.
  • 5k Breast Cancer survivor and 1 mile Breast Cancer survivor categories with discounted registration.
  • A Virtual-Run/Walk option where participants complete the distance on their own.

Registration includes a t-shirt (guaranteed if ordered before April 15th), a goody bag, and a participant medal for all 5k and 1 mile finishers. Chip timing is provided for the 5k only. Breast cancer survivors who register for the designated categories receive a special survivor shirt. Same-day registration is available, and packet pick-up occurs on the day of the races.

Awards are given to overall male and female winners, as well as to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in age groups. All funds raised go directly to support local recipients. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
