Camp Saratoga 5K Trail Series : Town of Wilton Camp Saratoga
The Camp Saratoga 5K Trail Series consists of five 5K trail races held on Monday evenings on June 22, July 6, July 20, August 3, and August 17, 2026. Races take place at Town of Wilton Camp Saratoga, with staging near Parking Lot #1 and Parking Lot #2 by the rest rooms. The course follows the 2024 5K routing that avoids the endangered Karner Blue butterfly area; participants are asked to respect these habitat areas during the late May and early July mating season.
Entry options include single-race registration or a series package. Standard fees are Adults $10 per race or $40 for the series, Ages 13–18 $5 per race or $20 for the series, and under 13 free. Saratoga Stryders members receive a 25% discount. The event limits total entries to 375 for the series, averaging 75 runners per evening to reduce trail impact. Day-of registration is accepted only if space remains and is cash or check only.
Light refreshments are provided after each race and there are raffle prizes. Participants should bring their own water. For safety and due to narrow trails, dogs are not permitted to run with participants. Proceeds benefit the Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park.
