Camp Quality's Go Gold for the Kids 5k

Camp Quality's Go Gold for the Kids 5k includes both in person events at Flushing County Park on September 13, 2026 and virtual events that can be completed any time during September 2026. The course follows the Riverview trail and areas of Flushing County Park.

The in person 5K run and 5K walk are chip timed. The kids fun runs (0.5 mile and 1 mile) are not chip timed but an additional time clock will be used to track yearly times. Age limit for the kids runs is 12 years; parents or guardians may join the fun run at no cost.

Registration details differ by format. In person registration opens January 25, 2026 and closes August 5, 2026; fees for in person 5K and 5K walk are $20 and for each kids run $15. Virtual registration opens January 15, 2026 and closes September 23, 2026; virtual 5K entries are free. Group pricing applies when three or more people register together and reduces the fee by $3 per person.

Race packets for virtual participants are sent the first week in September and then weekly after the start. T shirts and medals are limited and are guaranteed to the first 200 registrations before August 20, 2026.

Awards for in person 5K participants include age group awards to the top two male and female in each age group, top overall male and female runner, top male and female walker, and top male and female masters runner age 40 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
