Crim Festival of Races 2026
The 2026 Health Alliance Plan Crim Festival of Races is a multi-race event held in downtown Flint on August 21 and 22. The festival marks the 49th anniversary of the Crim 10-mile, which began in 1977.
Race distances include:
- Crim 10-mile
- Half-Crim 5-Mile
- Crim Family 5K
- Michigan Mile
- Teddy Bear Trot
- Crim Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Bobby Challenge (19.1 miles)
Start locations are specified by race. The Michigan Mile begins at the corner of Kearsley and Harrison Streets. The Crim 10-mile, Half-Crim 5-Mile, Crim Family 5K, and bundled races start at the corner of Saginaw and Kearsley Street (125 W. Kearsley St). The Teddy Bear Trot takes place outside Flint City Hall at 1101 S Saginaw St.
Packet pickup is held at the Riverfront Conference Center, One Riverfront Plaza, Downtown Flint. Expo pickup occurs Thursday, August 20 and Friday, August 21; limited emergency pickup is available Saturday, August 22 shortly before the races.
Event services and participant items include a custom finisher medal, ASICS race shirt, bib and timing tag, post-race food such as chocolate milk, granola bars and fruit, free pizza and beverage, and access to a post-race area with party tents, vendors, a live band, yoga and family fun zones. The event draws roughly 11,000 participants from 40 states and several foreign nations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
