Race events, formats and registration
Races on the festival weekend include the Michigan Mile (Friday) and multiple events on Saturday, including the 10 Mile, Half Crim 5 Mile, 5K, and the Teddy Bear Trot. Event formats include competitive and non-competitive divisions, walk divisions, hand cycle and wheeler divisions, and combined challenges such as the Crim Half Marathon (completion of the 10 Mile and 5K) and the Bobby Crim Challenge (multiple-event bundles offered in in-person, mixed, and all-virtual versions). The Teddy Bear Trot is approximately a quarter mile, starts at City Hall, and finishes at the Crim finish line; parents may participate without registering while child registration is required for official entry. Prize money is offered in the open 10 Mile: Men’s and Women’s Open pay 1st $3,000, 2nd $2,000, 3rd $1,000; Wheelers and Hand Cyclists list 1st $1,000 and 2nd $500.
