Camp Lug-A-Chug

This event is a volunteer effort to carry water and supplies to remote aid stations for a running race. Participants hike the supplies in, covering a round trip distance of about 9 miles. The activity takes place on a volcano near Cougar, Washington.

The gathering point is the Marble Mountain Sno-Park lower lot. A game is played where the person who carries the most weight relative to their body weight can win a free race entry. Participants are advised to bring a large backpack, snacks, water, and trekking poles. Some backpacks are available to borrow. Food is provided after each hike.
