Bigfoot 20 Mile Trail Race
The Bigfoot 20 miles begins at Marble Mountain Sno Park and runs along Mount St. Helens on the southwestern side. The course covers mountain terrain and is routed entirely on National Forest lands. The route is 100% single-track trails and the event uses a 9 hour cutoff for the course.
Runners encounter a variety of volcanic and forest features, including lava fields, stream crossings, and patches of old-growth forest. The layout emphasizes mountain trail running with rocky and volcanic sections, stream crossings, and forested stretches that reflect the volcano's 1980 eruption and subsequent landscape changes.
Course logistics note the location as Mount St. Helens and the distance as 20 miles. A course map and a runner manual are provided for participants. The race is presented as a trail event on National Forest lands with natural terrain features and a set time cutoff. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
