Cambridge Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K
The Cambridge Thanksgiving Turkey Trot is a community 5K held in Cambridge, NY on November 26, 2026. The course starts and finishes at the Coila Church on State Route 372 and runs along Old Coila Road, through portions of downtown, and past the old Cambridge Hotel. Course maps are provided at check-in, the route will be clearly marked, and law enforcement will control the course for safety.
Registration carries a fee of $25.00. Registration opens March 26, 2026 and closes on the morning of the race. Race T-shirts are available for purchase for participants who enroll before November 10. Packet pickup is offered on the evening before the race and on the morning of the race; organizers recommend using the evening option to reduce morning crowds. Family members may pick up packets for immediate family. Any participant not checked in by 8:10 will be considered a no-show; refunds will not be issued. Limited day-of registration may be available.
The event applies a course cutoff time of 2:00 hours, which corresponds to a minimum pace of 38 minutes per mile. The race has directed 100% of past registration profits to local charities; this year the recipient is the Cambridge Fuel Fund. Finishers receive snacks, beverages, finish photos, and finisher items at the Coila Church. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
