Cambridge Half Marathon 2026
The Cambridge Half Marathon takes place on 20 September 2026 at Tom Voyle Park, Taylor Street, Cambridge, New Zealand. The event offers multiple race distances that start and finish near the Tom Voyle Park clubrooms behind Cambridge High School.
- Half Marathon - 21.1 km (two loops; mostly flat; approximately 36 m elevation)
- Quarter Marathon - 10.7 km (one loop; mostly flat; approximately 17 m elevation)
- 5 km - 5.14 km (mostly flat; approximately 5 m elevation)
- 2 km Kids - 2.1 km (basically flat; over gravel tracks and sports fields)
Course surfaces are a mix of concrete shared path, fine gravel and tar seal; the half marathon includes about 11 km concrete path, 8 km fine gravel and 2 km tar seal. The half marathon will also serve as the Waikato Bay of Plenty Half Marathon Championship for 2026. Aid stations are provided on course: four for the half marathon and two for the quarter marathon, with specific locations including Swayne Rd Crossing and St Kilda Path. Toilets are available at the start/finish area plus two port-a-loos on course. Medals are awarded to all finishers as they cross the line and placegetters in each event are acknowledged at prize-giving. Entries are limited; registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no road closures; traffic management is provided and participants are responsible for safe road crossings. Headphones and dogs are not permitted on the course.
