Cambridge Half Marathon 2026 : Tom Voyle Park, Cambridge NZ
The Cambridge Half Marathon event takes place on 20 September 2026 at Tom Voyle Park, Taylor Street, Cambridge. The event offers multiple race distances and uses looped courses that run through tree-lined areas close to Cambridge township.
Distances
- 21.1 km Half Marathon, two loops, mostly flat
- 10.71 km Quarter Marathon, one loop, mostly flat
- 5.14 km 5 km run/walk
- 2.1 km 2 km kids run
Course details note measured elevations and surfaces. The Half Marathon is mostly flat with about 36 m elevation, comprising approximately 11 km concrete shared path, 8 km fine gravel and 2 km tar seal. The Quarter Marathon has about 17 m elevation with 5.5 km concrete, 4 km fine gravel and 1 km tar seal. The 5 km is mostly flat with about 5 m elevation. The 2 km kids run is basically flat over gravel tracks and sports fields.
Entries, pricing and eligibility are published for early bird, standard and late entry periods, including member and group discounts. All finishers receive a medal. The event will act as the Waikato Bay of Plenty Half Marathon Championship for 2026; championship medals require club affiliation.
Prizes acknowledge the first three placegetters male and female in each event based on gun time, with a total prize pool above NZ$2400 and 20 spot prizes; presence at the prize-giving is required to claim spot prizes. Aid stations, toilets and basic first aid are provided on course. Race rules include visible race numbers, non-transferable and non-refundable entries, no headphones, no dogs on course and no race-walking category for 2026.
