The route follows the scenic Columbia River trails and is primarily flat. Participants travel on the street for less than a quarter-mile before moving onto the Captain William Clark Park Trail. The 5K and 10K courses utilize turnaround points along the trail, with directional signs, mile markers, and flaggers stationed at intersections.
Available distances include:

- 5K running race
- Virtual 5K option
All finishers receive a medal featuring the race logo. Participants aged 21 and over receive one beer at the biergarten, while those under age 21 receive one root beer. The first 100 registrants are provided with a giveaway mug. Children under the age of 12 participate in the event for free. An award is presented for the "Best Oktoberfest outfit," and the largest team receives preferred seating at the biergarten.
The post-race atmosphere includes live music at the Brewery. Food and beverages are available for purchase on-site. The proceeds from the event support local vision and accessibility services, youth scholarships, and community emergency preparedness.
