About the race
The Camas Lions Oktoberfest 5K and 10K is a community run/walk in Washougal, WA, held along the Captain William Clark Park Trail and the Columbia River trails. Both races start and finish at 54 40 Beer and include a short section on a public street where vehicle traffic may be present. The route is described as primarily flat, with mile markers, directional signs, flags, and flaggers at key intersections.
Bibs are chipped and official times will be sent to participants after the event. Event features include live music and a Biergarten at the finish area. Participants age 21 and over receive one beer; participants under 21 receive one root beer. Food and additional beverages will be available for purchase.
Water will be provided at turnaround points and at the start/finish area. Port-a-potties, 54 40 Beer restrooms, and public park restrooms are available. Awards and giveaways include finisher medals for all finishers, additional awards for overall and age group top finishers, a first place prize, and a Best Oktoberfest outfit award. The first 100 registrants receive a commemorative mug.
Kids under 12 participate for free. Race-day packet pick-up is available at 54 40 Beer. Parking is limited to street parking with possible nearby lot access. Proceeds support local vision and accessibility services, youth leadership and scholarships, and emergency preparedness and community resilience.
