Camarillo Marathon 2027
The Camarillo Marathon is the 15th annual event held at Pleasant Valley Fields Park in Camarillo, California. The road course is USATF certified (#CA18033RS) and listed as a Boston-qualifying course. Races are organized on a looped layout: the full marathon uses four laps and the half marathon uses two laps of the same circuit.
An early-start option is offered for full marathon entrants who require extra time; runners who choose this option must notify organizers in advance so their bib can be included in official timing. Early starters should be prepared to carry their own water for the first 60 minutes because not all water stations are set up immediately.
The course is described as mostly flat, runs along a bike path with mile markers, and is spectator friendly. Aid provisions include water stations without disposable cups - runners may bring their own cup or purchase a reusable cup for $3 at packet pickup or race-day check-in. Portable toilets are placed along the course at intervals and there are restroom facilities at the park. A seven-hour time limit applies to the full marathon.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Ruby's Tequila Bar (2508 Las Posas Rd, Camarillo). Awards include top-3 overall medals by gender, top-3 age-group medals for all distances, and top-3 team competition medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
