Camarillo Marathon
The Camarillo Marathon is a USATF certified, Boston qualifying road race held on a mostly flat, paved bike path in Camarillo, California. The event is based at Pleasant Valley Fields Park, 150 Westpark Ct, Camarillo, CA 93012. The course is traffic-free along the bike path and described as spectator friendly.
Race options include multiple distances run on looped sections of the same paved course:
- Marathon - 4 loops of the course
- Half marathon - 2 loops of the course
- 10K
- 5K
All finishers receive a medal, a premium sublimated tech shirt, a premium runner's hat, and a re-usable tote bag. Additional event items include post-race food and a free plate of street tacos for runners at the post-race party. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers, top three in each age group for all distances, and top three teams in the team competition.
The event offers an early start option for full marathon entrants who notify organizers in advance; runners using this option must be prepared to self-supply water for the early portion and be familiar with the course.
