The Calvary 5K Trail Run "Run for the Son" takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The event address is 9333 Linwood Ave., Shreveport, LA 71106.

Participants can choose from three events, each with a listed price of $20.
- A 5K trail/road run.
- A Fun Run.
- A Sleep-In Supporter option.
The event is organized by Calvary's Family Life Center and Faith Missions Ministries. The race supports the ministry's mission work, which is active in more than 25 countries. Proceeds specifically support a girls' soccer team's travel to Ecuador for an international mission trip.
Race Information
Participants can pick up race packets before the event. Locations include RUN WILD and the Calvary Family Life Center. On race day, packet pickup starts at 7:00 AM at the race site.
Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners. Medals will also be awarded to the first and second place finishers in each age group. Age categories are: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
