Call To Honor Triathlon - Boxford, MA
The Call To Honor Triathlon is a community triathlon held at Boxford Town Beach at Keith Koster Park (Stiles Pond) in Boxford, MA. The event supports two $2,500 memorial scholarships awarded to graduating seniors at Masconomet Regional High School.
The race format is a sprint-distance triathlon with the following segments:
- 0.25 mile swim around two large buoys, clockwise
- 10 mile bike on a counterclockwise loop
- 1.5 mile run out and back on Stiles Pond Road
The start and finish are located at the town beach. Relay teams of three are permitted so that one person swims, one rides, and one runs. The event welcomes first-time triathletes.
Registration is available online only; walk-in registrations and substitutions are not permitted. Check-in is held at the beach the morning of the race and is also offered on the preceding Saturday afternoon, though bikes cannot be dropped off during the Saturday check-in period. Awards are presented to top finishers in multiple categories. A course map and additional event details are provided by the organizer.
