Call of the Wilds Mountain Fest
Call of the Wilds Mountain Fest takes place on October 24, 2026 at Little Pine State Park in Waterville, PA. The event offers two trail distances and uses multiple singletrack and trail connectors through the park and surrounding forest.
- 25K - a multi-trail route with more than 5,000 feet of vertical.
- 10K - one major climb, about 1,000 feet of vertical, then a downhill to join Panther Run.
The 25K course follows the Mid State, Spiked Buck, Tiadaghton, Pesto, Panther Run and Torbert Trail. After Torbert Trail runners descend a downhill section on Panther Run to the finish. The 10K links onto Panther Run after its main climb and follows the same finish approach.
Cut-offs are set at mile 5.5, mile 11 and mile 13 to ensure a daylight finish. The field is limited to 400 total runners across both distances. Registration opens December 16th and entry fees are $80 for the 25K and $55 for the 10K. The event materials state these routes are not entry level and recommend appropriate preparation.
