Call of the Wilds Mountain Fest - Waterville, PA
Call of the Wilds Mountain Fest is a trail running event held in Waterville, Pennsylvania and organized by PA Trail Dogs. The event offers two distances:
- 25K - over 5000 feet vertical, uses Mid State, Spiked Buck, Tiadaghton, Pesto, Panther Run, Torbert
- 10K - about 1000 feet vertical, uses Love Run, Mid State, Panther Run trails
Both races finish at the same location with timing handled by Falcon Timing. Food and drink are provided at the venue. Cut-offs are in place at specific mile markers to help ensure finishes occur in daylight.
Registration opens December 18 at 7pm EST and the event is limited to 400 total runners across both distances. Entry fees are listed as $55 for the 10K and $80 for the 25K. The organizer states there are no refunds, no deferrals, no bib switches, and no bandit entries.
The 25K route includes several named forest trails and finishes after a final section on Torbert Trail. The 10K follows a shorter combination of trails including Love Run and Panther Run.
