California Classic Half Marathon : event overview
The California Classic Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Fresno, California. The event center is Chukchansi Park / Chukchansi Stadium at 1800 Tulare St, Fresno, CA 93721. The weekend includes these race options:

The event marks the organizer's 15th year and the Half Marathon is a 20 point race in the CLASSIC Runner of the Year Series.
Course, logistics and amenities
The Half Marathon and 10k routes pass through Fresno Chaffee Zoo, including Sea Lion Cove, African Adventure and the Kingdom of Asia, and finish at Chukchansi Park. The 10k is a point-to-point 6.2 mile run that starts near the zoo; 10k participants are bused from Chukchansi Park to the zoo. The Rock n Run 5k runs through Downtown Fresno, does not enter the zoo, and finishes at Chukchansi Park. Packet pickup is available Friday, April 24 at Fleet Feet Fresno, Riverview Shopping Center, 9447 N Fort Washington Rd, Fresno. There will be no packet pickup at the 10k start at the zoo; morning pickup must be done at Chukchansi Park before boarding the bus.
Amenities listed for participants include chip timing, gender-specific technical shirts, finisher medallions, a collector pin (2026 pin: Chaffee Zoo's kangaroo), free photo downloads, text results, participant tracking, pacers for half runners (pace groups 130, 140, 150, 200, 210, 220, 230), cash awards for overall half winners, a beer garden for 21 and over, and a hot fudge sundae.
