Calgary Heartbeat Run - Calgary, September 20, 2026
The 12th Calgary Heartbeat Run takes place on September 20, 2026 at Baker Park in Calgary, Alberta. The event offers multiple distances and raises funds in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation; registration includes a cotton race t‑shirt and a commemorative finisher medal.

The course starts at Baker Park and follows the Rotary/Mattamy Greenway path system eastward. The 5 km route has a 2.5 km turnaround; the 10 km follows the same route and continues to the 5 km turnaround. Events are chip timed depending on attendance.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Gord’s Running Store, with late pickup on race day. There is ample parking at Baker Park; participants should proceed to the Commons Area (grassed bowl) for final check‑in.
Water bottles will be available to fill personal containers; participants are encouraged to bring their own water container. After the finish, fruit and muffins will be available and medical services will be on site. No age group awards will be provided this year; all participants receive a finisher medal.
Registration fees are listed and increase on the organizer’s specified dates. Registration is binding and refunds are only available if race insurance was purchased and its conditions are met.
