Calder Vale Good Friday 10 mile
The Calder Vale Good Friday 10 mile is a countryside road race held at Calder Vale Village Hall, PR3 1SJ, on 26th March 2027. The course follows an undulating route through the lanes and fields around Calder Vale.
Refreshments are available during the race and afterwards in the village. All finishers receive a medal. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers. Veteran category prizes are offered depending on the number of entries in those categories.
Entry is available online with different fees for affiliated club athletes and unaffiliated athletes: online entry fees are listed as £26 for affiliated athletes and £28 for unaffiliated athletes, noting that some online portals may add a small charge. Entries on the day are accepted for cash only, with a stated fee of £30 for both affiliated and unaffiliated entrants. The event operates a no refunds, no swaps, and no deferrals policy.
