Calcutta Fire's Italian Festival Meatball Roll 5K & Walk
This event on August 15, 2026 takes place in the Calcutta area of East Liverpool, Ohio, at 15765 State Rte 170. It pairs the first Meatball Roll 5K and walk with the second annual Italian Festival. The festival includes live bands, a beer trailer, Italian food, and other festival activities.
The running event covers a flat 3.1 Miles course through the Lakeview Circle neighborhood, Calcutta plazas, by the Calcutta Fire Department, and past St. Clair Town Hall. There are three water stops along the route. The 5K is a fun run and is not chip timed; a race clock will be visible at the start and finish and participants receive race bibs.
Awards are planned for the overall first place winner and for first through third places in the overall male and female categories. The event rules specify no double dipping in awards. Registration details note an early rate of $25 through July 31, with later registration at $35 and race day registration at $40; registering by July 31 is required to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Registration opens June 4.
