Cal 100 Fun Run
The Cal 100 Fun Run is a community running event held on 13 September 2026 at the Lower Fields of Caloundra State School. Participants run repeated laps of a 1 km circuit for 100 minutes to see how far they can go. The course includes a designated changeover zone for team baton exchanges.
The event offers team categories for ages five years and above and a solo option for adults. Teams may set up one tent or marquee per team in a designated space; permitted sizes are 3 m x 3 m or 3 m x 6 m. Event features include the Beat the Croc novelty race for children at the conclusion of the main event, food stalls, coffee, a raffle, and merchandise sales and pre-orders.
Entry pricing follows an early bird period that applies until 16 August 2026, with standard pricing thereafter and possible limited on-day registrations if capacity allows. Merchandise pre-orders are available until 23 August 2026 and can be collected on the day; a limited amount of stock will be available for purchase at the event.
Prizes include a $100 award for winners in each category and prize vouchers for runners-up. Local school, club, and business challenge trophies will be presented to teams that go the furthest.
