CAL 100 FUN RUN
The Cal 100 Fun Run is a community running event on Sunday 13 September 2026 at the Lower Fields of Caloundra State School. Participants run a continuous 1 km circuit for 100 minutes to see how far they can go. The course includes a designated changeover zone for team baton exchanges. Each team may bring one tent or marquee (3 m x 3 m or 3 m x 6 m) to occupy a designated space during the event.
The event is delivered by the Caloundra State School P&C Association and supported by local sponsors including Pacific Ford Caloundra, Helping Hands Caloundra, and Sports Hub Sunshine Coast. The program includes the 100 minutes challenge, the Beat the Croc novelty race for children, food stalls, coffee, a raffle, and event merchandise.
Entry options include team categories for ages 5 years and above and a solo category for adults. Early bird registration pricing applies until 16 August 2026. Example early bird fees are Adult solo $50, Adult team member $20, Youth team member $10, and Child team member $10. Merchandise orders are available online until 23 August 2026 with limited stock for day sales.
Prizes include a $100 award for winners in each category and prize vouchers for runners-up. School, club and business challenge trophies are awarded to the groups that cover the greatest distance. Refunds may be offered for genuine reasons with a schedule of 50% until 26 July 2026, 25% from 27 July to 16 August 2026, and no refunds from 17 August 2026.
