Course and race details

The swim is open water in Airport Lake; swim caps will be provided and water safety boats will be on site. Wetsuit use follows USA Triathlon rules and will be decided based on race-morning temperatures. The bike course is a 20-mile route on local roads with marked turns and volunteer support. The run starts and finishes near the transition area by Airport Lake and includes roads within the Lafayette Regional Airport; the course will be marked and staffed with aid stations offering water and fluid replacement drinks. Relay teams must have at least two members; one member may complete two disciplines while the other completes the remaining discipline.
