Event information
The Cajun Cup 10K & 1 Mile takes place in Lafayette, Louisiana on Saturday and Sunday, November 8-9, 2025. The in-person venue is Parc Sans Souci, 201 E. Vermilion St., Lafayette, LA 70501. The event is a fundraiser for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns cross country and track teams. The course will close at approximately two hours, and race officials may ask participants who need more time to move to the sidewalk. There is a collection of used running shoes for Lafayette Catholic Services at Geaux Run on the day before the race and on race morning.

Registration, packet pickup and awards
Registration fees change by date: $50 through June 17; $55 from June 18 through August 19; $60 from August 20 through November 7; $65 at packet pickup (no race day registration). Farrel’s Mile registration fee is $20. Online registration closes the morning of November 8 for timing purposes; packet pickup is scheduled at Geaux Run on November 7. Participants who do not pick up packets at the scheduled pickup may not receive a shirt.
10K awards: top three overall male and female receive a Cajun Cup mug and a cash prize. Masters and older age-category overall winners receive cash and a mug. Age-group winners receive a mug; second and third receive medals. Top 50 male and female finishers receive a poster. All 10K finishers receive a finisher’s medal.
