Cairns 50 Community Running Festival
The Cairns 50 Community Running Festival is a multi-distance event held at Glenoma Park in Brinsmead. The festival takes place over a weekend, beginning with a family-oriented program on Saturday and concluding with endurance races on Sunday. The Saturday schedule includes a Family Fun Day featuring an endurance sports expo and various activities such as jumping castles and face painting.

- 30 km (2 x 15 km laps)
- 10 km (2 laps)
- 5 km (3 x 1.7 km laps)

The 50 km ultramarathon is held on a road course consisting of three laps. It is characterized as a flat course suitable for those attempting the distance for the first time or seeking a personal best. The 30 km race follows a two-lap course along the paths of Redlynch Valley, while the 10 km and 5 km options also utilize flat, multi-lap layouts.
