Cairncastle Classic (NIMRA Champs)
The Cairncastle Classic is organised by NIMRA as part of the NIMRA Championships in the medium distance category. The event takes place in County Antrim on Saturday 6 June 2026 and finishes with prizegiving at Ballygalley.
The main course distance is 16.20 km with a total climb of 620 m. Only major junctions on the route are marked and the use of GPS devices is not allowed. The event difficulty is listed as Moderate Terrain.
Participants are required to carry Level B standard mandatory kit. Required items include a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, a whistle, a charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or bivvy bag or equivalent.
