Event Overview
The Cahill 5k Race and 1 mile Walk takes place in Swampscott, Massachusetts. This community athletic event is organized through a partnership between the Swampscott Rotary and The Anchor Food Pantry. Beneficiaries
Funds raised from the event are divided between two organizations. Half of the profits are allocated to the Danny Cahill Scholarship, while the remaining half supports The Anchor Food Pantry. These organizations reflect the interests and values of the individual being honored by the race.
Participant Information
Participants have the option to enter different categories based on their preferred activity and distance:
- 5k running race
- 1 Mile walk
- 5k run specifically for SHS Teams
The event provides commemorative t-shirts to participants. The first 100 individuals who register are guaranteed to receive their preferred shirt size. The race activities are centered at Linscott Park, located at 22 Monument Ave. Registration services are available on the morning of the event starting at 7:30 am for those who have not registered in advance.
