About the race
Cafecito5K is the fifth annual 5K event held on November 8, 2026, at Haulover Park in Miami Beach. The start and finish are located under the Haulover Inlet bridge inside Haulover Park and Marina. The event has a total capacity of 500 participant spots.
The event includes both a certified 5 km race and a short kids dash. The kids dash is limited to 50 spots and is open to young children. The main race is open to ages 6 to 99, while the kids dash is open to ages 1 to 9.
Included with registration are a commemorative finisher's medal, an official race bib, professional race timing, and cafecito served at the finish line. Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female overall finishers, and to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age category.
Registration pricing varies by timing. The organizer offers a 5th anniversary opening special of $25 for the first 50 registrations, a race day price of $50, and a separate fee of $15 for the kids dash.
