Cabin Creek 5k, Georgetown
The Cabin Creek 5k is a community fun run scheduled for September 13, 2026, that starts and ends at Cabin Creek Brewing in Georgetown. The route is approximately 5k and is designed to begin and finish at the brewery taproom.
All participants receive a free craft brew or a nonalcoholic beverage at the finish and may choose a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series. There is an option to add a Cabin Creek 5K shirt at checkout. The event includes live music, food trucks, local vendors, door prizes from the organizers and sponsors, and brewery merchandise for sale.
This is an untimed event on an open course; roads will not be closed so participants are responsible for obeying traffic laws. The course will be marked with arrows and supported by volunteers. A valid ID or driver’s license is required for alcoholic beverages; underage participants will receive a token for a nonalcoholic beverage. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine. There will not be a bag check. Dogs and strollers are allowed on the course with appropriate care and caution. Public parking is available at the brewery location and public transit may be an option. Registration is limited by taproom capacity and refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
