Cabernet Canter Cross Country 5K/10K - Talon Winery
The eighth annual Cabernet Canter Cross Country 5K/10K takes place at Talon Winery in Lexington, Kentucky on August 28, 2026. The event features two cross-country distances:
- 5K Cross Country Race
- 10K Cross Country Race
Participants receive a finisher award and a drink ticket redeemable for one glass of Talon wine. Participants under 21 receive the finisher award but not the glass of wine. The event includes wine sales and live music; an after-party runs until 10 p.m. in the Talon Winery tasting room and Monarch Pavilion.
Packet pickup is available before race day at John’s Run/Walk Shop, 317 S. Ashland Ave, Lexington KY 40502, with hours on Wednesday, August 27 and Thursday, August 28 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Early pickup is encouraged, and participants may pick up packets for others.
The event is part of the Central Kentucky Beer, Bourbon & Wine Cross Country Series and is presented by John’s Bluegrass Racing Company with sponsorship from Diadora.
