BZ Classic 5K
The BZ Classic 5K is the sixth annual running event presented by the Elk County Striders in Ridgway, Pennsylvania. The course follows the Clarion-Little Toby rail-trail and covers a distance of 3.1 Miles.
The event honors a founding member of the Striders' club. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each male and female age group. Entry packets include a bib, pins, a timing chip, and a t-shirt. Timing chips are disposable and do not need to be returned after the race.
Pre-registration fee is $30. Pre-registered entrants who register by June 15 will receive a race shirt. Registration opens March 19 and closes June 25. Race day registration is available with no additional fee, but shirts are not available for race day registrants.
Depending on the number of participants, runners may be sent out in waves. The event is organized as a running-only race along the rail-trail in historic Ridgway. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
