Shane-O-Mak 5K Run / 1.5 Mile Walk
The event takes place on August 8, 2026 at 765 Park Street, Brockway, PA. It features two distances and is organized to support a local foundation.

The Shane E Horner Foundation provides access to postsecondary education for community members who otherwise would not have the financial means to pursue higher education. One hundred percent of the proceeds are donated to the foundation. The foundation provides college scholarships to local high school seniors and describes higher education as a catalyst for individuals and communities.
Registration is offered in two pricing windows. Early registration runs April 15 to July 16 with a listed base fee of $20 plus processing and taxes. Late registration runs July 17 to August 7 with a listed base fee of $25 plus processing and taxes.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three finishers in each age group. Age group categories listed are 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, and 50 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
