Shane-O-Mak 5k Run and 1.5 Mile Walk
The event takes place on Saturday, August 8, 2026 in Brockway, PA at Taylor Memorial Park. It features two separate participatory options: a 5K fun run and a 1.5 mile walk.
Registration fees are listed with an early rate of $20.00 through 7/16 at 11:59 PM EDT and a late rate of $25.00 from 7/16 at 11:59 PM EDT through 8/6 at 11:59 PM EDT. Group registration is available and fee details are provided by the organizers.
Proceeds from the event support the Shane E Horner Foundation. One hundred percent of proceeds are used to provide local high school seniors with college scholarships. The foundation’s stated mission is to increase access to postsecondary education for members of the community who lack financial means.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three finishers in each age group. Age groups are: 19 and under, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, and 50 and over.
