Brockway Firecracker 10K : event description
The Brockway 4th of July Firecracker event in Brockway, Pennsylvania, includes a timed 10 km race plus a 5 km race and a one-mile fun walk/run on July 4, 2026. The event is centered at the Brockway Taylor Memorial Swimming Pool, 765 Park Street, with both the start and finish located on 7th Avenue Extension near the pool.
Registration is cashless and is handled on mobile devices. Disposable bib chips will be used for timing by Gingerbread Man Timers of Indiana, PA, and official results are posted online by the timing company and on RunSignUp. Registration fees are listed per event.
The 5K and 10K share the same first 5 kilometers; the one-mile fun run finishes beside the Brockway Presbyterian Church. The course has mile markers and multiple water stations along the way, and this year’s course follows the same layout as previous years. Fun run participants receive a T-shirt; the fun run itself is not timed. Event apparel includes preorder-only XXL sizes and expanded youth sizes.
