BVT Color Run
The BVT Color Run is an athletic event held in Upton, Massachusetts. The race takes place on the grounds surrounding the Blackstone Valley Regional Technical Vocational High School. Participants follow a course designated for a 5 km color run, where colored powder is used throughout the event.
The primary objective of the run is to raise funds for the National Honor Society (NHS) and the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). The proceeds generated from the event are allocated toward several academic and community initiatives, including:
- College scholarships for NHS and NTHS students
- The annual Induction Ceremony
- Graduation stoles for members
- Future community service projects
The event is held at 65 Pleasant Street and provides an opportunity for the community to support student achievements and local volunteer efforts through a organized distance run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
