Buzzy's Run, Walk, Roll for Research 5k, Kids Mile & Adaptive Roll
This event includes three main activities: a 5k run/walk, a kids' mile, and a half-mile adaptive wheelchair roll. It is hosted by the Shenandoah University Division of Physical Therapy and takes place at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Winchester, Virginia.
The event is a fundraiser. Proceeds from registration and donations go to the VCU-Marquette Challenge, a student-led effort supporting the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research. The foundation uses funds to support clinical researchers and future research projects. Over 300 schools have participated in this challenge, raising more than $4.5 million.
Registration for a free t-shirt closes on March 1. Sponsorship opportunities for businesses are available, with a deadline of March 20 for logo placement on event shirts.
