Buzz, Sweat & Tears 5K
The Buzz, Sweat & Tears event is a Halloween-themed fundraiser on October 25, 2026, benefiting the Fort Mill High School Cross Country program and supporting more than 100 athletes from Gold Hill Middle, Pleasant Knoll Middle, Banks Trail Middle, and Fort Mill High Schools. The in-person 5K takes place at Bob Jones Stadium at Fort Mill High School. The course is mostly paved and winds through the high school campus.

- Kids' Fun Run (about 0.5 mile)
- Couch Edition virtual 5K
Registration tiers are listed for early, regular, late, and race day pricing; a virtual Couch Edition registration fee is noted separately. Commemorative t-shirts by size are guaranteed for in-person 5K run/walk registrants who register by October 4; shirts are not included with the Couch Edition virtual registration. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet in Fort Mill and at the race.
Event features include vendors offering coffee, apparel, massage, sports therapy, and a pre-race warm up led by Orangetheory Fitness, plus a gift basket raffle. Costumes are encouraged and applause-determined costume winners receive small prizes. Dogs are asked to remain at home. Strollers are permitted only for registered event walkers. Awards recognize the top three overall male and female finishers and top finishers in listed age groups for males and females. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
