Butte To Butte

The OTC Butte To Butte, presented by Rexius, is an annual running event in Eugene, Oregon, taking place on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Organized by the Oregon Track Club, the event sends participants through the historic streets of Eugene and finishes at the 5th Street Public Market. Thousands of runners from Eugene and around the world take part each Fourth of July.

Butte To Butte serves as a community fundraiser for the Oregon Track Club, which supports local running programs and events. The race traces its origins to 1973, when it began as "Storm the Butte" with routes up Spencer Butte and along Willamette Street, and it has continued as an annual tradition for more than fifty years. Race weekend activities and services noted by the organizer include packet pick up, awards and prizes, a team challenge, a finish festival, shuttles, host hotel information, and notices about road closures.
