BUTS Bearly Ultra
The event is scheduled for November 21, 2026, at Red Mountain Park in Birmingham, Alabama. It offers trail running on the park's established network and is organized by BUTS.

The course uses a 13.5 mile loop that zigzags across Red Mountain trails, with roughly 1500 feet of elevation gain per loop. The 27 mile distance consists of two loops of the same circuit. Trail types include old rail beds, root-filled single track, and sections that allow faster running on BMRR trails. Notable features along the route include Grace's Gap Overlook, mine shaft areas, and informal rest spots such as chairs and swings.
Course support includes aid stations located on the loop; at least one aid station will be encountered multiple times. Finish amenities include hot food, cold drinks, and a finisher medal. Timing will use ankle-worn HuTags, and runners are advised to wear taller socks for tag placement.
