Busselton Tri Club Olympic Distance Triathlon
This event is a multi-distance triathlon held at the Busselton Surf Life Saving Club on Foreshore Parade, Busselton WA, Australia. Races are organised by distance and age category and include dedicated TRYstars races for children.
Distances available:
- Short (12 years and over): 250m swim, 7km bike, 2.5km run
- Long (14 years and over): 500m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
- Olympic (15 years and over): 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run
- TRYstars for ages 5 to 12 with graduated distances by age group:
- Under 7s: 25m swim, 1km ride, 250m run
- 7–9 years: 50m swim, 2km ride, 500m run
- 10–12 years: 75m swim, 4km ride, 1km run
TRYstars races take place entirely on shared paths with volunteers at turns, swim sections that are waist deep for younger children, and post-race fruit provided for kids. Equipment required includes a bike, helmet, and running shoes. Parents may be asked to assist with course guidance.
Entry categories include general paid entries with specified fees and free entries for current Busselton Tri Club members with Standard or Premium membership.
