Burton Creek Trail Run
The Burton Creek Trail Run takes place in Burton Creek State Park near Tahoe City, California. The courses run on a trail system through pine forests and meadows. Participants can choose from three distances: a 6K, a 12K, or a Half Marathon.
The event is held at Tahoe XC, located at 925 Country Club Drive in Tahoe City. The start location for all races is the same address. Discounts are available for youth runners (18 and under) and seniors (65 and older), as well as for clubs, teams, military personnel, and challenged athletes upon request.
Registration fees are tiered, with lower prices for early registration. The fees vary per distance and age category. For the half marathon, a post-race BBQ is included. All participants receive an event t-shirt, a finishing medal, access to free digital race photos, and recovery snacks. Medical staff are present at the event.
