The 20th Annual Burning River Endurance Runs & Relay takes place Saturday July 25 to Sunday July 26, 2026 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Course, entries and logistics
Course formats include out-and-back and point-to-point routes; the 100M and relay use the same out-and-back course. Official cutoff times are set by distance (for example 100M cutoffs include 30 and 32 hour limits; 50M and marathon cutoffs are shorter). Approximate elevation gain is 8000 ft for the 100M, 4000 ft for the 50M, and 2000 ft for the marathon. The Sheraton Suites Akron Cuyahoga Falls is listed as the race hotel near the start/finish area.
Swag options include a race sticker and poster plus a choice of a 36 oz stainless water bottle, a race tee, or a premium Patagonia long sleeve shirt (premium for an additional fee). Awards are given overall and by 5-year age groups. Fundraising minimums to waive registration fees are: 100M $750, 50M $500, Marathon $300, Relay $300 per person. Registration fees vary by registration period; examples range roughly 100M $270–$320, 50M $160–$210, marathon $95–$125, relay $80 per person.
