Burnham Half Marathon : Burnham-on-Sea, 13 September 2026
The Burnham Half Marathon is a 13.1 miles road race held at the BASC Sports Ground in Burnham-on-Sea. The 2026 edition marks the event's 40th anniversary and follows a flat, country-road loop that passes Brent Knoll, Lympsham and Berrow.
The course is certified and described as flat and fast, with three water stations positioned along the route and additional refreshments at the finish. Official pacers are available to assist runners aiming for target times. A tail vehicle follows the back of the field and there is a three-hour time limit after which marshals will withdraw from the course.
Facilities at the sportsground include toilets, changing space and limited bag drop storage left at the owner’s risk. Parking is available on site though the entrance has a height barrier that restricts larger vehicles; car park marshals will direct traffic. Dogs are not permitted on site.
Entry information for 2026 noted an entry fee of £26.00 with a small discount for holders of an England Athletics registration number; entries were recorded as sold out for this edition. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. A commemorative technical t-shirt was offered for purchase at £15.50 with orders closing 10 July and collection on race day.
